Overtime iTunes libraries can get pretty big and having to filter through all the songs in the library can be a tough task. This is a short script I wrote when I wanted to create a workout playlist but didn't want to listen to my entire iTunes library. The script plays a 10 second preview of all the songs in a playlist, thereby making it easier to create a list of the songs that would be best suited for my workout. Like all the scripts on this page this script can be setup to be called with a simple keyboard shortcut such as CMD+M.
Ever looked in your iPhoto library and noticed that you a multitude of duplicated photos? It can be very time consuming, not to mention extremely boring, to have to go through and delete each duplicate. It was with this in mind that I wrote this script to help get a rid of photos that appear more than once in iPhoto. This is an AppleScript which searches YouTube for the track that is currently playing in iTunes. It comes in handy when you are listening to a track in iTunes and may like to see the music video or watch an interview of the artist, etc. on YouTube.
